Yuste Staircases started in Monreal del Campo, Teruel (Spain), in 1950 thanks to the initiative of Antonio Yuste, founder of the company. At that time, the company was called Yuste Carpentry (Carpintería Yuste) which was dedicated to the manufacturing of all kinds of carpentry products using machines which Antonio Yuste himself made such as a planer or a belt-saw.
As the years passed, Antonio Yuste’s four sons learned from their father everything necessary for the woodworking workshop so that it became more and more well known in the area.
Various decades later, in 1990, all four of them decided that the moment had come to specialize in the manufacturing and sales of staircases. A line of products that over time became more and more requested and with which they achieved a lot of prestige.
A few years ago, the second generation of the Yuste family started managing the company and members of the third generation have already incorporated themselves in the organization, where day by day they learn the secrets of the trade. All of these people work under Antonio Yuste’s watchful eye, the founder, who visits the company almost daily to discover which new staircases and banisters are being built.
Today, Yuste Staircases sells their staircases and banisters to building contractors, carpenters, and individuals in all parts of Spain and also abroad. The precision of the three latest technology numeric control machines and the experience of its carpenters and fitters have converted the company into a point of reference within the sector. A company that has arrived where they are today because of the deep affection and respect that the owners and employees have towards their most important raw material: wood.
